07 — AI & transformation
Where I'm placing bets.
Most "AI transformation" projects fail not because the tech is wrong — but because the workflow underneath it never changed. I focus on these three patterns.
Embedded copilots, not separate chatbots
Surface AI inside the tools people already use. Reduces context-switching and increases adoption 3–5×.
Evaluation as a first-class artifact
Build the eval set before the feature. Without ground-truth, "is it working?" becomes a feeling, not a metric.
Workflows over models
The 10× wins come from rethinking the process — what gets automated, escalated, or deleted entirely.
